Family vacation planner in Stacy, Minnesota

Big adventures, sized for every age

A first snorkel with your seven-year-old, a zip-line your teenager will brag about, a pool day the toddler naps through. I plan family vacations where everyone gets their moment, including you.

Why families use a travel agent

One trip, five ages, a hundred decisions. You want a week that works for all of them, and one you actually get to enjoy.

The little one needs a nap. The middle one wants the biggest waterslide. The teenager wants to be anywhere but next to you. Finding the resort, the room and the days that work for everyone takes hours, and it usually lands on one person.

That is where I come in. I match the trip to your kids’ actual ages, book every piece of it, and stay a text away the whole time.

Family vacations I plan

Where families go

All-inclusive resorts

Meals, snacks and kids clubs covered, so nobody counts costs at every meal. Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and beyond.

Caribbean and island adventures

Calm water for first-time snorkelers, catamaran days and beaches with room to run. Aruba, Curaçao, St. Lucia, Barbados, Puerto Rico and more.

Europe and Greece with kids

Ancient ruins, gelato stops and island ferries, paced so small legs and big feelings can keep up.

Family cruises

A new port every morning and a ship that entertains every age, matched to the right line and cabin.

Family cruises

Theme park vacations

Big rides and bigger memories, planned so the lines stay short and the meltdowns stay rare.

Family adventures by age

Something for every age

Ages 0 to 5

Little ones

  • Zero-entry pools, splash pads and calm, shallow beaches
  • Cribs, baby clubs and dinner early enough for bedtime
  • Short transfers, because the first day sets the tone
  • A suite or connecting rooms, so naps do not end the day
Ages 6 to 11

Kids

  • A first snorkel on a guided reef
  • Zip-lines with family harnesses and rainforest hikes
  • Catamaran days and waterslides worth the walk
  • A kids club they will beg to go back to
Ages 12 to 17

Teens

  • Surf lessons, ATV tours and kayaking sea caves
  • Cooking classes, street food and city nights
  • A little freedom and a teen club with real things to do
  • Photos they will actually want to post

Family travel planning, done for you

What you get

  • Rooms that fit

Connecting rooms or a suite with a door that closes, so bedtime is not everyone’s bedtime.

  • Kids clubs worth it

I check the ages, hours and what is included, so the club is a highlight, not a gamble.

  • Transfers sorted

Private transfers arranged ahead, with car seats when you need them.

  • Dining booked

Reservations, early seatings and allergy notes handled before you leave.

  • Celebration touches

A birthday cake, a note in the room or something special waiting for the kids.

  • Text me the whole trip

A canceled tour or a change of plans? You text me and I take care of it.

Minnesota school breaks

When Minnesota families travel

Most of my families plan around the school calendar. Here is how far ahead to start for each break. Dates vary by district, so check yours.

October

MEA weekend

Start about six months ahead. A four-day weekend that fills fast for warm-weather escapes.

Late December

Winter break

Start nine to twelve months ahead. Holiday weeks book first and cost the most.

March

Spring break

Start the summer before. The most requested week of the year for family trips.

June to August

Summer

Start six to nine months ahead. More flexibility, but family suites go early.

Not tied to the school calendar? Shoulder seasons bring better prices and fewer crowds, and I will tell you when they are worth it.

I plan your trip like I plan ours

I travel with my husband and our two boys, so I know what a long travel day feels like with a toddler, which pools are worth it, and why the first afternoon matters so much.

I plan for families in Stacy, North Branch, Forest Lake, Lindstrom, Wyoming and across Chisago County and the north metro, and for families anywhere in the US.

Questions

Family vacation questions

What ages do you plan family vacations for?

All of them, from babies to teenagers. A trip with a toddler and a trip with teens look completely different, so I start with your kids’ ages and build from there.

Is an all-inclusive resort worth it for a family?

Often, yes. Meals, snacks and kids clubs are covered, so nobody counts costs at every meal. It depends on the resort and your kids’ ages, which is exactly what I match before anything is booked.

When should we book a trip around Minnesota school breaks?

Nine to twelve months ahead for winter and spring break, six to nine months for summer, and about six months for MEA weekend. Shorter notice is often possible, so it is always worth asking.

Do we need passports for a family vacation?

US citizens do not need a passport for Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. Most other international trips, including Mexico and the Caribbean islands, do. I flag passport timing early so nobody’s renewal holds up the trip.

Does it cost more to plan a family vacation with you?

For resort stays, theme park vacations and cruises, no. The hotels and cruise lines pay me, so you pay the same as booking direct. Custom and multi-stop trips carry a planning fee, agreed before I begin. How I am paid.

Can you help while we are traveling?

Yes. You text me directly. If plans change or something falls through, I handle it so you can stay on vacation.

Tell me who is coming

Ages, dates and the one thing everyone wants to try. I will take it from there.
