It started with my own wedding

I have always been the one who plans it. The weekend away, the birthday dinner, the family vacation: it lands with me, and I love it.

In September 2022 my husband and I got married on Clearwater Beach. I planned the whole wedding in two weeks, sent the invitations with three months’ notice, and still had time to plan our honeymoon. A week later, a hurricane hit that same beach. I realized the part everyone else found stressful was the part I loved.

So I made it my work. Jocelyn is my middle name, and I always imagined giving it to a daughter one day. Instead it went to this business, which has become my other baby. It runs on the same idea as that wedding: you bring the people, and I plan the trip around them.

Where are you based?

Stacy, Minnesota, just north of the Twin Cities. I plan trips for families and friend groups in North Branch, Forest Lake, Lindstrom, Wyoming and across Chisago County, and for clients anywhere in the United States.

Are you an independent travel agent?

Yes. I am an independent travel agent, affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel Group. You work with me directly from the first conversation to the trip home.

Do you plan retreats?

Yes. I plan retreats for the people hosting them: the destination, the venue, rooms, transfers and activities. You lead the retreat, and I take care of the travel behind it.

How much does it cost to work with you?

For resort stays, theme park vacations and cruises, nothing extra. The hotels and cruise lines pay me, so you pay the same as booking direct. Custom and multi-stop trips carry a planning fee from $350, agreed before I begin. More on how I am paid.
