Calendars can change, so I always confirm your dates before booking. Not tied to the school calendar? Plenty of families travel outside school breaks, and I will tell you when the quieter weeks are worth it.

Good to know before you go
- MSP Airport is about 42 miles straight south on I-35, roughly 45 minutes without traffic.
- Forest Lake schools start winter break December 24 and Chisago Lakes December 23, 2026. Tell me which school your kids attend.
- The Sunrise Prairie Trail and Comfort Lake are good local practice for the paddle and bike days I build into bigger trips.
